Organization Admin access is required to generate an Admin API key.

Generate an Admin API Key

Admin API keys provide access to organization-level resources. You must be an organization admin to create one.

Sign in to the Anthropic Console

Sign in to your Anthropic Console.

Open Organization Settings

Click your profile in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar and select Organization settings.

Navigate to Admin Keys

In the Organization settings sidebar, click Admin keys.

Create a new Admin API key

Click + Create admin key to open the key creation dialog.

  • Enter a descriptive name (e.g., StackOne Admin Integration).
  • Click Add to confirm.
  • Copy the key immediately — it will only be shown once.
  • Store it securely for use later.

What you can do with this Admin API Key

An Admin API key provides access to organization-level resources:

  • Organization — Retrieve organization details
  • Users — List, retrieve, and update user roles
  • Invites — Create, list, retrieve, and delete invitations
  • Workspaces — Create, list, retrieve, update, and archive workspaces
  • API Keys — List, retrieve, and update API keys

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • Admin API Key

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
