SCIM API Token for User and Group Sync (Optional)
The unified user and group actions read Airtable’s SCIM API, which requires its own token — separate from the OAuth authorization.
1
Check the requirements
SCIM access is only available on qualifying Airtable plans with single sign-on configured.
- Requires a Business, Enterprise, or Enterprise Scale plan
- SAML SSO must be enabled for your organization
- Leave the SCIM API Token field blank if you do not need user and group sync — all other actions work without it
2
Generate the SCIM token
Create a token with the SCIM scope as an Enterprise admin.
- Sign in as an Enterprise admin and open airtable.com/create/tokens
- Create a token with the enterprise.scim.usersAndGroups:manage scope
- Copy the token and paste it into the SCIM API Token field when connecting the account
- Refer to the Airtable SCIM overview for more details
