Generate an API key
Create or reuse a company-level API credential in the Adyen Customer Area and generate an API key for it.

Open API credentials
Sign in to the Adyen Customer Area and go to Developers > API credentials.
- Use the test Customer Area (ca-test.adyen.com) for a Test connection and the live Customer Area for Production.
- Pick a company-level credential (username starting with ws@Company.) so company users and accounts are visible.

Assign roles
Under Permissions > Roles, assign the Management API roles this connection needs, then save.
- Management API - Account read, for companies and merchant accounts.
- Management API - Users read and write, for company and merchant users.
- Management API - API credentials read and write, for listing API credentials.

Generate and copy the key
Under Server settings > Authentication, select API key and click Generate API key. Copy the key and paste it below.
- The key is shown only once. Store it securely.
Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub
Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields
Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
- API Key

Connect
- Click Connect
- If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
- Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup
If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
