Sign In to the Wrangle Web App
Wrangle uses Slack (or Microsoft Teams) as its identity provider — there is no separate Wrangle password.
Open the Wrangle Login Page
Open the Wrangle login page in your browser.
Authorize Wrangle via Slack
Click Log In With Slack. Slack will ask you to review the Wrangle app’s requested permissions.
- If you are not already signed in to Slack, complete the Slack login first.
- On the Slack consent page, choose the workspace you want to connect (e.g., your StackOne sandbox workspace).
- Click Allow to grant Wrangle access to that workspace.
Land on the Wrangle Dashboard
You are now signed in at slack.wrangle.io.
Open the Wrangle API Integration Page
All three credentials are shown on the Wrangle API integration page in the Wrangle web app.
Navigate to Integrations
From the Wrangle dashboard, find the Integrations entry in the left sidebar.
- In the left sidebar, expand Integrations.
- Click the Wrangle API sub-item.
Copy Your Credentials
The Wrangle API page lists all three values you need. Paste each one into the matching StackOne field.
- Copy the API Token (click the show link next to it to reveal the value; it changes to hide after clicking). Paste it into the API Token field in StackOne. Treat it like a password and do not share it outside your company.
- Copy the slackWorkspaceId value — this maps to the Slack Workspace ID field in StackOne.
- Copy the slackUserId value — this maps to the Slack User ID field in StackOne. It identifies the Slack user the Wrangle API will act on behalf of.
