Each VectorVMS API environment (UAT and Production) has its own API Key and Secret. Use your Production credentials.

Requesting API access

VectorVMS (Pixid VMS Pro) does not offer self-service API keys. Your API Key and API Secret identify your vendor organization and application to the API.

1

Request API access

Contact your VectorVMS (Pixid VMS Pro) account team and ask for API access for your vendor organization in the Production environment.

2

Save your API Key and Secret

VectorVMS creates your API Key and Secret when it first sets up your access, and creates new ones each time it grants additional API access. Store both values securely for use later.

Entering your credentials

Your API Key and API Secret together authenticate every request StackOne makes to VectorVMS.

1

Paste the API Key

Paste the API Key from VectorVMS into the API Key field in StackOne Hub.

2

Paste the API Secret

Paste the API Secret from VectorVMS into the API Secret field in StackOne Hub.

  • StackOne never sends the API Secret to VectorVMS. It only uses it to sign each request.

Linking the Account from the Hub
