Find your PandaDoc region
PandaDoc runs separate Global and Europe regions, and a key works only in the region where it was created. Your region is the address you sign in at. Match it to the Region you choose in StackOne Hub.

Create an API key
A PandaDoc API key acts with the role and license of the person who generates it, in one workspace. Only the account owner and admin role users can open the Dev Center where keys are generated.
Sign in to PandaDoc
Sign in to your PandaDoc account, or at app.pandadoc.eu for an account in Europe, as the account owner or an organization admin.
- Switch to the workspace that holds most of your people, because each person’s status is read from that workspace’s member list.
- You need the Admin role in that workspace. PandaDoc requires the owner of a key to be an Admin of the workspace when the key is generated.
Enable the Dev Center
Open Settings → API and Integrations → API and click Enable.
- Skip this step if the Dev Center is already enabled.
Open the key page
Open the Dev Center and go to Configuration, where PandaDoc generates Sandbox and Production API keys.
- To activate a Production key, ask PandaDoc Support or your customer success manager.
- A Sandbox key reads the same account data, because PandaDoc has no separate sandbox environment, but it is limited to 10 requests per minute on each endpoint, so a list of more than about 500 users can fail with a rate-limit error. PandaDoc counts the limit per person, so other keys owned by the same person share it.
Generate and copy the key
Generate a Production API key, or a Sandbox API key if you do not have a Production key, and copy it.
- Generating a key invalidates the workspace’s existing key of the same type, so any other integration that uses that key stops working.
- PandaDoc names no expiry for API keys. A key works until a newer key of the same type is generated or its owner is removed from the workspace, and the connection then fails with an authentication error.
- Paste the key into the API Key field in StackOne Hub and choose the Region that matches the address you sign in at.
Access the key needs
The same key serves every read and the workspace member actions, so no separate grant is needed for the write actions.
- The account owner or an organization admin can list users and read member and workspace details. This is the smallest grant that lists users.
- PandaDoc also lets a workspace admin add and remove workspace members, and lets a role with permission to edit member roles change a member’s role. Listing users still needs the account owner or an organization admin, so use that person’s key for all of them.
Replace or revoke the key
To rotate the key, generate a new key of the same type on Configuration as the account owner or an organization admin, and paste it into the API Key field in StackOne Hub. The earlier key stops working at once. Removing a person from the workspace also deactivates every key they generated.
