Get Your Customer.io App API Key

The App API Key is required to access campaigns, segments, broadcasts, and retrieve data from your workspace.

Navigate to API Credentials

Sign in to your Customer.io Dashboard.

  • Click on the settings icon in the top right corner.
  • Select Account settings.
  • Click on API Credentials option.

Create App API Key

In the API Credentials page, click the App API keys tab.

  • Click Create App API Key.
  • Enter a name for your key (e.g., “StackOne Integration”).
  • Click Create.
  • Copy the API Key immediately and store it securely.

Get Your Customer.io Track API Credentials (Optional)

Track API credentials are optional. Add them if you want to send behavioral tracking data, manage customers, and track events.

Get Track API Credentials

In the API Credentials page, click the Tracking API keys tab.

  • Note your Site ID displayed in the table.
  • Click Create Track API Key.
  • Enter a name for your key (e.g., “StackOne Tracking”).
  • Click Create.
  • Copy the API Key immediately and store it securely along with your Site ID.

Linking the Account from the Hub

Navigate to the Hub

Use one of the three Linking Account Methods to access the Hub.

Fill out the fields

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:
  • App API Key
  • App API Region
  • Site ID (Track API) (Optional)
  • Track API Key (Optional)
  • Track API Region (Optional)

Connect

  • Click Connect
  • If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider’s authorization flow.
  • Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your Accounts page.
