Create the Atlassian OAuth 2.0 App
Log in to Atlassian Developer Console
Log in to the Atlassian Developer Console
Enter App Name
Enter the App name you want, agree to the terms and then click on Create button.
You will be redirected to the app overview page.
Edit the Distribution settings
- Go to Distribution and click on Edit button.
- Change the Distribution Status to Sharing.
- Enter at least your Vendor name and Privacy policy URL.
- Select the appropriate Personal Data Declaration option.
- Click Save changes.
Edit the Authorization settings
- Go to Authorization.
- For Authorization type Oauth 2.0 (3LO), click Add.
- Enter the Callback URL:
https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/jira/callback - Click Save changes.
Edit the Permissions settings
- Go to Permissions.
- For the API name Jira API, click Add.
- Click Edit Scopes.
- Select the scopes required.
- Click Save changes.
Enable the StackOne Jira Integration
Enable the Integration
- Go to the StackOne app > Auth Configs.
- Navigate to Ticketing.
- Find Jira and click + .
Setup the Integration
- Authentication Type: OAuth 2.0 - Client Credentials
- Domain: The domain of your Atlassian instance where the app is configured.
- Client ID: The Client ID of the Atlassian app (from previous steps).
- Client Secret: The Client Secret of the Atlassian app (from previous steps).
- Application Scopes (optional): The scopes you want the application to use (or if left blank, placeholder scopes will be used).
Integration Enabled
The integration is now enabled and your customers will now be able to connect their accounts. See the following for more information:
