# Self-Hosted Deployment

> Run StackOne in your own environment for full data residency.

Most customers use StackOne's managed cloud, where you choose a [region](/gateway/concepts/organizations-and-projects) for data residency at the project level. Self-hosting runs StackOne inside your own infrastructure instead.

The key advantage: your integration data never leaves your environment — meeting strict data-residency, sovereignty, and compliance requirements that the managed regions don't cover.
