# Connect X (Twitter) with App-Only Bearer Token – StackOne Hub

> Link a X (Twitter) account in the StackOne Hub using App-Only Bearer Token. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using X (Twitter) actions.

<Warning>An X Developer account with an approved project and app is required to generate a Bearer Token.</Warning>

  <h2>Generate a Bearer Token</h2>

  <p>A Bearer Token provides app-level read access to public X data without requiring user authorization.</p>

    <Step title="Open the X Developer Portal">

        <p>Go to <a href="https://developer.x.com/en/portal/dashboard" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">X Developer Portal</a> and sign in with your X account.</p>

    <Step title="Navigate to your app's Keys and Tokens">

        <p>In the left sidebar, click <strong>Projects & Apps</strong> > <strong>Overview</strong>, select your app, and click the <strong>Keys and Tokens</strong> tab.</p>

    <Step title="Generate and copy the Bearer Token">

        <p>Under <strong>Bearer Token</strong>, click <strong>Regenerate</strong> (or <strong>Generate</strong> if not yet created).</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Copy the Bearer Token and store it securely for use later — it will not be shown again.</li>
        </ul>

  <h2>Linking the Account from the Hub</h2>

    <Step title="Navigate to the Hub">
      Use one of the three <a href="/guides/accounts-section#linking-accounts">Linking Account Methods</a> to access the Hub.

    <Step title="Fill out the fields">
      Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

      <ul>
        <li><strong>Bearer Token</strong></li>
      </ul>

      <ul>
        <li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
        <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
        <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
      </ul>

  <p>If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your <a href="/guides/accounts-section">Accounts</a> page.</p>
