# Connect Talend with Personal Access Token – StackOne Hub

> Link a Talend account in the StackOne Hub using Personal Access Token. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Talend actions.

<Warning>Requires Qlik Talend Cloud (the data-integration product) — a Qlik Cloud Analytics-only subscription or trial does not include it, so the Talend Cloud Management Console will not open. The free 14-day Qlik Talend Cloud trial does include it. The token inherits your account's permissions and is displayed only once. If single sign-on is enabled and you are blocked from the Talend Cloud application, an administrator must grant your user or group access to that application in your identity provider (e.g. Microsoft Entra ID).</Warning>

  <h2>Generate a Personal Access Token</h2>

  <p>Create a Personal Access Token from the Talend Cloud Management Console.</p>

    <Step title="Sign in to Qlik Talend Cloud">

        <p>Sign in to your <a href="https://myqlik.qlik.com/tenants/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qlik Talend Cloud account</a>.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>If you do not have access yet, start a free <a href="https://www.qlik.com/us/trial/qlik-talend-cloud" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qlik Talend Cloud trial</a> (the data-integration product, separate from Qlik Cloud Analytics).</li>
          <li>If you have multiple tenants, they are all listed after you sign in — select your <strong>Talend</strong> tenant.</li>

    <Step title="Open the Talend Cloud Management Console">

        <p>How you reach the Management Console depends on whether your account already exists or is new.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Existing account: you are taken directly to <strong>Talend Cloud</strong> (the Management Console).</li>
          <li>New account: activate your account, then select your region in the dialog and click <strong>Done</strong>. You are redirected to the <strong>Talend Data Integration</strong> home page — in the <strong>left sidebar</strong>, click <strong>Talend Cloud</strong>.</li>

        <p>Open your profile settings in the Management Console.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Click your <strong>username</strong> in the top-right corner.</li>
          <li>Select <strong>Profile preferences</strong>.</li>
          <li>Click <strong>Personal access tokens</strong>.</li>

    <Step title="Add and copy the token">

        <p>Generate the token and copy it before closing the dialog.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Click <strong>Add token</strong>.</li>
          <li>Enter a Token name (for example, `StackOne Integration`).</li>
          <li>Click <strong>Generate</strong>.</li>
          <li>Copy the token and store it securely for use later.</li>
          <li>Note: The token is displayed only once. If you close the dialog without copying it, you must generate a new one.</li>

  <h2>Linking the Account from the Hub</h2>

    <Step title="Navigate to the Hub">
      Use one of the three <a href="/guides/accounts-section#linking-accounts">Linking Account Methods</a> to access the Hub.

    <Step title="Fill out the fields">
      Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

      <ul>
        <li><strong>Region</strong></li>
        <li><strong>Personal Access Token</strong></li>
      </ul>

        <li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
        <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
        <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
      </ul>

  <p>If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your <a href="/guides/accounts-section">Accounts</a> page.</p>
