# Plaid Webhook Setup Guide

> Configure Plaid to deliver events to StackOne.

## Prerequisites

The connector should already be set up, with a Connector Profile and a Linked Account. See [Getting Started](https://docs.stackone.com/connectors/plaid.md#getting-started) on the Plaid connector page.

## How webhooks are set up

StackOne creates and manages the webhook automatically when an account is connected, and removes it when the account is disconnected. There is nothing to configure in Plaid and no URL to paste.

<ul>
  <li>Plaid sends webhooks for one bank link (Item) to one URL. StackOne sets that URL on the Item when the account connects.</li>
  <li>Plaid sends a product's events only when that product is enabled on the Item.</li>
  <li>Webhooks that Plaid configures in the Plaid Dashboard instead of on the Item, such as Transfer and Identity Verification, are not part of this connection.</li>

## Verify

Your Connector should now be able to receive and process events. Try triggering an event and you should see an Event appear in the Connector logs.
