# Connect Oracle Clinical One with OAuth 2.0 (Password Grant) – StackOne Hub

> Link a Oracle Clinical One account in the StackOne Hub using OAuth 2.0 (Password Grant). End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Oracle Clinical One actions.

> [!WARNING]

> Requires an Oracle Life Sciences IAMS user account with the clinicalone-CNE role and study roles in Oracle Clinical One for the data you want to access.

## Find your sign-in details

StackOne calls Oracle Clinical One as your Oracle Life Sciences IAMS user, with the study roles you hold in Oracle Clinical One.

**1. Find your username and password**

Your Oracle Life Sciences IAMS user name and password are in the welcome email you received when your account was created. See [Get your account information](https://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/life-sciences/identity-access-management-service/manage-account-guide/get-your-account-information.html) if you can't find it.

<ul>
  <li>Enter your user login without the leading tenant ID in the **Username** field in StackOne Hub. StackOne adds the tenant ID for you.</li>
  <li>Example: if your user login is `hsgb.edc.jdoe`, enter `edc.jdoe`</li>
  <li>Enter your password in the **Password** field in StackOne Hub.</li>
</ul>

**2. Check your roles**

Your account needs the `clinicalone-CNE` role in Oracle Life Sciences IAMS and the appropriate study role in each study mode in Oracle Clinical One.

<ul>
  <li>If a role is missing, ask your user administrator or your Oracle project manager.</li>
  <li>Before you connect, sign in to Oracle Clinical One and carry out the tasks you want StackOne to perform, to confirm your roles allow them.</li>
  <li>Oracle Life Sciences IAMS passwords must be changed every 90 days, and the connection stops working when the password expires. Enter the new password in StackOne Hub after each change.</li>
</ul>

## Linking the Account from the Hub

**1. Navigate to the Hub**

Use one of the three [Linking Account Methods](https://docs.stackone.com/connect/managing-connectors/linking-accounts.md) to access the Hub.

**2. Fill out the fields**

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

<ul>
  <li>**Username**</li>
  <li>**Password**</li>
</ul>

**3. Connect**

<ul>
  <li>Click **Connect**</li>
  <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
  <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
</ul>

If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account on your [Accounts](https://app.stackone.com/accounts) page.
