# Connect Medium with Integration Token – StackOne Hub

> Link a Medium account in the StackOne Hub using Integration Token. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Medium actions.

<Warning>Medium stopped issuing new integration tokens on January 1, 2025. Only users who generated a token before that date can connect. Existing tokens continue to work indefinitely.</Warning>

  <h2>Find your Integration Token</h2>

  <p>If you generated a Medium integration token before January 2025, you can use it to connect.</p>

        <p>Sign in to your <a href="https://medium.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Medium account</a>.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select <strong>Settings</strong>.</li>
        </ul>

    <Step title="Locate your integration token">

        <p>Scroll down to the <strong>Integration tokens</strong> section.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>If you already have a token, copy it for use below.</li>
          <li>If the Integration tokens section is not visible, your account does not have access to the Medium API.</li>

  <h2>What you can do with this token</h2>

  <p>An integration token provides access to the following resources:</p>

  <ul>
    <li><strong>User Profile</strong> — Retrieve your authenticated user details</li>
    <li><strong>Publications</strong> — List your publications and their contributors</li>
    <li><strong>Posts</strong> — Create posts on your profile or under a publication</li>

  <h2>Linking the Account from the Hub</h2>

  <Steps>
    <Step title="Navigate to the Hub">
      Use one of the three <a href="/guides/accounts-section#linking-accounts">Linking Account Methods</a> to access the Hub.
    </Step>

    <Step title="Fill out the fields">
      Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

      <ul>
        <li><strong>Integration Token</strong></li>
      </ul>

    <Step title="Connect">
      <ul>
        <li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
        <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
        <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
      </ul>

  <p>If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your <a href="/guides/accounts-section">Accounts</a> page.</p>
