# Connect Leapsome with Content API Secret – StackOne Hub

> Link a Leapsome account in the StackOne Hub using Content API Secret. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Leapsome actions.

<Warning>Admin permissions in Leapsome are required to generate a Content API Secret.</Warning>

  <h2>Generate a Content API Secret</h2>

  <p>Generate an API Secret from the Leapsome admin area. The secret is only displayed<br />once at generation — store it securely before closing the dialog.</p>

        <p>Sign in to your <a href="https://www.leapsome.com/app" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Leapsome account</a> with an admin user.</p>

        <p>Go to <strong>Settings → Integrations and Imports → Content API</strong>.</p>

    <Step title="Create an API Secret">

        <p>Click <strong>Create API Secret</strong>. The secret appears above the button. Copy it<br />immediately — it is not stored or shown again. If lost, generate a new one<br />and re-install the integration.</p>

  <h2>Linking the Account from the Hub</h2>

      Use one of the three <a href="/guides/accounts-section#linking-accounts">Linking Account Methods</a> to access the Hub.

    <Step title="Fill out the fields">
      Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

        <li><strong>Content API Secret</strong></li>
      </ul>

    <Step title="Connect">
      <ul>
        <li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
        <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
        <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
      </ul>

  <p>If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your <a href="/guides/accounts-section">Accounts</a> page.</p>
