# Connect hc1 with Username and Password – StackOne Hub

> Link a hc1 account in the StackOne Hub using Username and Password. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using hc1 actions.

  <h2>Connect your hc1 account</h2>

  <p>Use the login of an hc1 user whose role can read the records you need. hc1 has no API keys, so the connector signs in the same way the hc1 web app does.</p>

        <p>Your tenant is the first part of the address you use to open hc1. For `https://interpath.hc1.com` the tenant is `interpath`.</p>

    <Step title="Enter the user's login">

        <p>Enter the username and password of the hc1 user.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>The user must not have multi-factor authentication (email or SMS codes) turned on, or the connection cannot sign in.</li>
          <li>The connector can only read what the user's role allows. Ask your hc1 administrator for a dedicated integration user.</li>

  <h2>Linking the Account from the Hub</h2>

    <Step title="Navigate to the Hub">
      Use one of the three <a href="/connect/managing-connectors/linking-accounts">Linking Account Methods</a> to access the Hub.

    <Step title="Fill out the fields">
      Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

      <ul>
        <li><strong>Tenant</strong></li>
        <li><strong>Username</strong></li>
        <li><strong>Password</strong></li>
      </ul>

    <Step title="Connect">

        <li>Click <strong>Connect</strong></li>
        <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
        <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup</li>
      </ul>

  <p>If the account linking is successful, you will see the newly linked account in your <a href="/gateway/concepts/linked-accounts">Accounts</a> page.</p>
