# Finastra OAuth 2.0 connector profile – StackOne setup guide

> Set up the OAuth 2.0 connector profile for Finastra in StackOne. One-time admin setup required before your users can link Finastra accounts via Hub.

<Warning>You must be able to sign in to the Finastra developer portal and register an application to obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials.</Warning>

  <h2>Register an application on the Finastra developer portal</h2>

  <p>Finastra authenticates through FusionFabric.cloud OpenID Connect using the authorization code flow. You first register an application to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.</p>

    <Step title="Sign in and create an application">

        <p>Sign in to the <a href="https://developer.fusionfabric.cloud/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Finastra Developer Portal</a> and create a new application.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Open your applications area and select <strong>Create a new app</strong>.</li>
          <li>Give the application a name, for example <strong>StackOne</strong>.</li>
          <li>Select the environment you want to connect — <strong>Sandbox</strong> or <strong>Production</strong>.</li>
        </ul>

    <Step title="Subscribe to the Corporate Banking Channels APIs">

        <p>Add the APIs this connector uses to your application so the issued token is authorized for them.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Subscribe to the Corporate Banking Channels APIs you need, such as <strong>Accounts and Balances</strong>, <strong>Payment Initiation</strong>, <strong>FX Rates</strong>, <strong>Beneficiary Maintenance</strong>, <strong>Counterparties</strong>, <strong>Term Deposits</strong>, <strong>Transaction Enquiries</strong> and <strong>Transaction Approvals</strong>.</li>
        </ul>

    <Step title="Set the redirect URI">

        <p>Add the StackOne callback URL as an allowed redirect URI for your application.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Redirect URI: `https://api.stackone.com/connect/oauth2/finastra/callback`</li>
        </ul>

    <Step title="Copy the Client ID and Client Secret">
      <div data-guide-step data-guide-scopes="" data-guide-display-scopes-list="">
        <p>Once the application is created, copy its credentials from the application details.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>Copy the <strong>Client ID</strong> generated for the application.</li>
          <li>Copy the <strong>Client Secret</strong> and store it securely for use later, as it may be shown only once.</li>
        </ul>

    <Step title="Identify your tenant">

        <p>Provide your FusionFabric.cloud tenant identifier when connecting.</p>

        <ul>
          <li>For the public sandbox, the tenant is `sandbox`.</li>
          <li>For production, use your organization's FusionFabric.cloud tenant identifier.</li>

## Creating the StackOne Connector Profile

To create the Connector Profile in StackOne for <strong>Finastra</strong>:

  <Step title="Navigate to Connector Profiles">
    Login to StackOne and navigate to [Connector Profiles](https://app.stackone.com/connector_profiles)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create New Connector Profile">
    <ul>
      <li>Click <strong>+ Connector Profile</strong></li>
      <li>Search for and select <strong>Finastra</strong></li>
      <li>Select <strong>Type</strong> as <strong>OAuth 2.0</strong></li>

      <li>
        Fill out the fields using details retrieved from your provider:

          <li><strong>Client ID</strong></li>
          <li><strong>Client Secret</strong></li>
          <li><strong>Tenant</strong></li>
        </ul>
      </li>

      <li>(Optional) Select <strong>Actions</strong> to be enabled for this Connector Profile</li>
      <li>Click <strong>Create profile</strong></li>
    </ul>
  </Step>

Congratulations! The new Connector Profile will now show up in your project ready to be used. You can now continue to <a href="/connect/managing-connectors/linking-accounts">Link Accounts</a> for <strong>Finastra</strong>.
