# Connect Embat with Service User – StackOne Hub

> Link a Embat account in the StackOne Hub using Service User. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Embat actions.

> [!WARNING]
>
> The service user must not have multi-factor authentication enabled. Request sandbox credentials from Embat if you want to test against non-production data first.

## Get your Embat service user credentials

Embat API access uses an email and password pair that identifies a service user with access to one or more companies in Embat.

**1. Request API credentials**

Contact Embat support ([tech@embat.io](mailto:tech@embat.io)) or your Embat account manager to get a service user for API access.

The service user can access every company it belongs to in Embat.

Keep these credentials secret and never share them in client-side code or logs.

**2. Enter the credentials**

Enter the service user's **Email** and **Password** in the connection form.

## Link the Account

**1. Connect**

Click **Connect**.

If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.

Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.

**2. Use Actions**

Connect an AI platform to the linked account's actions. See [AI Platforms](https://docs.stackone.com/connect/ai-platforms/overview.md).

Other ways to call actions are listed in [Protocols & SDKs](https://docs.stackone.com/connect/protocols-and-sdks.md).
