# Checkr OAuth 2.0 connector profile – StackOne setup guide

> Set up a connector profile using OAuth 2.0 for Checkr in StackOne to allow users to link their accounts.

> [!WARNING]
>
> OAuth is only available to Checkr partners. Apply through Checkr's Partner Application form; Checkr then provides a Staging and a Production Partner Dashboard account. Live (production) activity requires approval after an integration review with a Partner Manager.

## Create a Partner Application

The Partner Application issues the Client ID and Client Secret you enter below. Staging and Production are separate Partner Dashboard accounts, so create an application in the one that matches the environment you connect.

**1. Open Applications**

Sign in to the Checkr Partner Dashboard and go to **Management** > **Applications** > **Add**.

**2. Fill in the application form**

Complete the application details. The name, logo and color are shown to your customers in the Connect to Checkr flow.

**Application name** - your app or brand name.

**Application/Homepage URL** and **Application description** - shown on Checkr's Partners page and Marketplace listings.

**Redirect URL** - enter the **Callback URL** from your Connector Profile. It must be HTTPS and match exactly; wildcards are not supported.

**Webhook URL** - receives webhook events for all of your connected customer accounts.

**Logo** and **Your company color**.

**3. Copy the credentials**

After the application is created, Checkr generates a **client\_id** and **client\_secret** for it. Enter them in the **Client ID** and **Client Secret** fields of your Connector Profile and keep the client\_secret secure.

## Create the StackOne Connector Profile

**1. Create a Connector Profile**

Enable the connector and create a Connector Profile in your project. See [Setup Connector Profile](https://docs.stackone.com/gateway/quickstart.md#setup-connector-profile).

**2. Link an Account**

Once the Connector Profile is created, continue to [link an account](https://docs.stackone.com/connectors/checkr/guides/link-account/oauth-2-0.md).
