# Connect Better Stack with Global API Token – StackOne Hub

> Link a Better Stack account in the StackOne Hub using Global API Token. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Better Stack actions.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Only admins can create global API tokens. Team leads can view existing ones.

## Create a global API token

A global API token works across every Better Stack product and team.

**1. Create the token**

Sign in to your [Better Stack account](https://betterstack.com/users/sign-in), then go to **Settings** > **API tokens** > **Global tokens**.

<ul>
  <li>**Token name**: `StackOne Integration`</li>
  <li>Select **Read & write**, or **Read only** for a read-only connection. Webhook events need **Read & write**.</li>
  <li>Click **Create**.</li>
</ul>

**2. Copy the token**

In the **StackOne Integration** row, click **Copy**, then paste the **API Token** into StackOne Hub.

**3. Copy the team name**

If your organization has more than one team, go to **Settings** > **Teams** and copy the name of the team to work with into StackOne Hub as the **Team Name**.

<ul>
  <li>Example: `First Team`</li>
  <li>Leave **Team Name** empty when your organization has only one team.</li>
  <li>Webhook events come from this team's incidents and monitors.</li>
</ul>

**2. Fill out the fields**

Fill out the following fields using details from your provider:

<ul>

<ul>
