# Connect Anaplan with OAuth 2.0 – StackOne Hub

> Link a Anaplan account in the StackOne Hub using OAuth 2.0. End-user guide to authorize the integration and start using Anaplan actions.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Only a tenant security administrator can create and manage OAuth 2.0 clients in Anaplan. Authorization Code grant and Device grant need separate client registrations, and this connector uses Authorization Code grant.

## Create an OAuth 2.0 client

An OAuth 2.0 client registers StackOne with your Anaplan tenant and gives you the Client ID and Client Secret you enter below.

**1. Open the OAuth clients page**

Sign in to Anaplan as a tenant security administrator.

<ul>
  <li>Select **Administration** from the top-left navigation menu.</li>
  <li>Select **Security** > **OAuth Clients**.</li>
  <li>The first time you open the OAuth clients page, select **Enable OAuth**.</li>
</ul>

**2. Create the client**

Select **New** in the upper-right corner. The **Create OAuth 2.0 client** dialog displays.

<ul>
  <li>Enter a **Name** for the client, for example `StackOne`. The alphanumeric name can contain either ? or ! symbols, and no other punctuation marks or special characters.</li>
  <li>Select **Authorization code grant** from the **Type** dropdown.</li>
  <li>In **Allowed callback URLs**, enter the **Callback URL** from your Connector Profile.</li>
  <li>Select **Create client**.</li>
</ul>

**3. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret**

A dialog displays the **Client name**, **Client ID** and **Client secret**. Select **Copy client secret**, then select **Done**.

<ul>
  <li>To see the client secret again, select the OAuth 2.0 client on the OAuth clients page. The client secret displays in the right-side panel.</li>
</ul>

## Find your OAuth service URL

Anaplan serves the OAuth 2.0 endpoints from a host that depends on which region hosts your tenant, so there is no single global address. Enter the base URL only, with no path, for example `https://us1a.app.anaplan.com`.

<ul>
  <li>US1, US2, US5, US7, EU1, EU2, EU4 and AP1 use `https://us1a.app.anaplan.com`</li>
  <li>US9 uses `https://us9.app.anaplan.com`, EU3 uses `https://eu3.app.anaplan.com`, EU5 uses `https://eu5.app.anaplan.com`, GB1 uses `https://gb1.app.anaplan.com`</li>
  <li>CA1 uses `https://ca1a.app.anaplan.com`, AU1 uses `https://au1a.app2.anaplan.com`, SG1 uses `https://sg1.app.anaplan.com`</li>
  <li>AE1 uses `https://ae1.app.anaplan.com`, IN1 uses `https://in1.app.anaplan.com`, ID1 uses `https://id1.app.anaplan.com`, ME1 uses `https://me1.app.anaplan.com`</li>
  <li>Your region is shown in the URL you use to sign in to Anaplan. If you are unsure, check Anaplan's URL, IP, and allowlist requirements article in the Support portal.</li>
</ul>

## Link the Account

**1. Connect**

<ul>
  <li>Click **Connect**.</li>
  <li>If applicable, the provider will redirect you to a sign-in or authorization page. Complete the provider's authorization flow.</li>
  <li>Once authorization is successful, you will see a confirmation popup.</li>
</ul>

**2. Use Actions**

Connect an AI platform to the linked account's actions. See [AI Platforms](https://docs.stackone.com/connect/ai-platforms/overview.md).

Other ways to call actions are listed in [Protocols & SDKs](https://docs.stackone.com/connect/protocols-and-sdks.md).
